The works here are a small sample of how I started this series, the large wood sculpture is a carved 
from Burl Pecan wood and I started it is 1993 and did not mount it to the bronze creation until the year, 2,000. I have never been very interested in selling it. Once I displayed it in an art gallery exhibition and my agent priced it too low. I refused the sale, took it to my studio and left it outside in the weather for a year. I knew it was safe, and all I had to do was sand it and refinish the surface and get it to my new home where it lives now. The weight of the entire piece is about 300 lbs.
